Jim is husband to Karen, who is our wonderful church Treasurer. He is also Dad to two adult sons who live and work in Ottawa.
Jim is a Certified Addiction Counsellor and he is an Ordained Minister with Gospel Crusade Ministerial Fellowship (GCMF).
His 20 year background in counselling includes facilitating support groups, managing recovery homes, as well as counselling individuals and couples.
He is a teacher-pastor who walks in humility and loyalty.
Jim has the gift of communicating God’s truth in a clear manner that provides understanding.
He likes participating with Father God in bringing revelation that affects change.
Jim has a passion to see those that are held captive be set free to experience their destiny in God.
Jim believes that his effectiveness in ministry depends on his remaining open to the Lord for his own healing and growth. So you’ll never eat stale bread with Jim!
Along with serving on River of Life Core Leadership, Jim is our Men’s Ministry Leader and he also provides prayer counselling in both individual and couples sessions.
